Postdoctoral positions in bacteriophage biology and microbiota
Several postdoctoral positions are available in Dr. Zhiwei Huang’s laboratory at Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), China.
Our research interests focus on the mechanisms of pathogen-host interactions, especially interested in gut microbiota and its related diseases. We are also interested in the mechanism of the co-evolutionary molecular mechanism of bacterial CRISPR system and phage anti-CRISPR system. We use multi-disciplinary approaches including bioinformatics, structural biology, cell biology, and mouse models in our studies.
Candidates should hold a PhD with a background in one or more of the following areas: bacteriophage, microbiota, virology, immunology or related field.
